Opening this weekend, June 22nd:

“Barnum” chronicles the life of P.T. Barnum and his rise from humble 
beginnings to his stature as a world-renowned impresario.  Says 
director/producer Mark Branner, “This show is a three-ring treat for 
young and old alike.  Filled with wonders from around the world – 
wire walkers, acrobats, jugglers, trapeze artists and much more – and 
accompanied by a brassy razzle-dazzle score, the musical is about 
theatrical magic and illusion.”

“Barnum” is part of “the China Project” at AVC.  “The China Project” 
is a year-long training program in specialized theatrical skills such 
as acrobatics with visiting guest artist, Zheng Yin Ping, artistic 
director of one of China’s top acrobatic troupes.
