It started as a fluke. Invite students from one of the Theatre Arts Department’s most sought-after classes, Improvisation, to put on an improvised stage show, call some friends and family members to watch, see what happens. What happens and continues to happen each semester is a standing room only night of hilarity, as instantly invented skits, games and songs spill out onto a stage where anything can happen – and often does. Taking suggestions blurted out by audience members, the quick wit and creative imagination of the actors create wonderful, off-the-cuff comedy that leaves everyone in the house laughing. For those who say, "surely a show this funny can't be genuinely improvised," the answer is…it's all made up.
